I wouldn't say the CVS is sporting a week field this week but is not near as strong as they had hoped. The were originally billing it as having the top nine on the money list but that has since fallen by the wayside.
Why do you think the Asian players play almost every single event and don't seem to tire and get burned out like the American players do? My theory is that being an American and playing in America wreaks havoc on your game and your life. The Tour wants your time the fans want your time and the sponsors want your time not to mention the in thing for pro golfers now days is to have your own benefit tourney which requires a tremendous amount of work.
The foriegn born players have far less demands on their time and are able to enjoy the tour and concentrate on golf with little interference from outside. I think this factor alone is a huge reason that the Asians fair so well here.
