What they forgot to mention about the Solheim Cup

This is the very first post on what I hope to be a wonderfully insightful and enjoyable not to mention popular blog about the LPGA Tour.

Fresh off the 2009 Solheim Cup I think there are a few things that the media has failed to mention or has overlooked some i believe intentionally.

1, We (the USA) were heavy favorites

2, Morgan Pressel led that team at 21 years old! The fiercest competitor who plays fearless and refuses to lose.
3. Christina Kim, came ready to play she gave the cup a shot in the arm with her personality and most important of all she represented my country with incredible class. Some thought she was too boisterous and loud which I can understand but it was all in fun and when it came time to play she insured the crowd was respectful of her opponent at all times. People, Christina Kim is the most positive ambassador that the LPGA has today. She is a magnet for all that is good in golf and life and the LPGA.
4. Beth Daniel knows way more than I do about these girls and their games. I saw the final days pairings and thought ewww. She was masterful at putting struggling golfers like Natalie Gulbis and Nicole Castrale in spots where she was able to concede a point that would not have implications on the outcome.
5. Michelle Wei can play and she is funny and warm and an enjoyable person.

6. Having her play with Morgan to get a taste of how a real competitor plays the S-Cup was a stroke of genius. She saw her partner go right at their opponents with out fear and beat them and she went out the rest of the event and played like a 6 foot tall Morgan Pressel.
7. Catroina Matthews is the real deal with a Retief Goosen Like personality and a beautiful golf swing. What a joy to watch!
